SATURDAY, AUGUST 12, 2017
Commencing at 8:00 a.m. SHARP
LUNCH BREAK WILL BE HELD DURING THE PARADE AND SOME CLASSES WILL RUN DEPENDING ON PARADE ATTENDANCE.

Location: Indoors - North of Rodeo Grounds at the Barrhead Ag Barn. Ample Parking. Warm up area.

Jumping - 10-12 Noon, Trail (Noon - 4 p.m.) to be held in a separate ring. Please note times are approximate and will be finalized the day of the show. Also please note that the English flat classes will run simultaneous with the jumping classes and there will be gate holds for those competitors that need it.

General Rules:
1. POST ENTRIES will be accepted at the show office between 7:00 a.m. and 10:00 a.m. Post Entry Fees are $10/class and Pre Entry fees are $7/class. Entry fees shall not be refunded for any reason after 8:00 a.m. August 12, 2017.
2. Entry fees must accompany entry forms: payable to Barrhead Agricultural Society.
3. Any horse not considered under control, and endangering other horses and competitors, may be excused from the ring at the discretion of the judge or show committee.
4. STALLIONS - Registration papers must be available. May not be shown by anyone under the age of 18.
5. Each horse will be allocated an identification number, to be worn by the exhibitor. COST $5.00 each. Refunded with return of number.
6. Order of events will be listed in the book except where specified. Exhibitors must be prompt. Judge may disqualify anyone who is late.
7. Age of exhibitor for youth classes are as of January 1, 2017.
8. Junior horse is five years and under. The age of a horse shall be computed on
the basis of a calendar year starting on January 1st of the year foaled.
9. Nervous Novice Rider 7 & under walk trot - Two hands are permitted with any age of horse.
10. Any protests must be made in writing and presented to the Show Committee with a $50.00 deposit.
11. If there are less than 4 entries in a class, the class may be cancelled or combined.
NOTE: All exhibitors, participants and family members are expected to pay admission to the fair. Participants Ground Admission has been added to the purse.

BASED ON LAST YEARS ENTRIES $250.00 (GROUND ADMISSION FEE) HAS BEEN ADDED TO THE PURSE.

This show will be governed by accepted National Horseshow Rules.
